Purchased mattresses and within 2 months they sunk 2" in the middle. A rep came to my house and said they were bad and the company replaced them.

The next set did the same thing! This time I had to do everything myself to prove they were bad. I sent paperwork and photos. Twice they said it was because the bed did not have proper support under it.

Third time, I sent more paperwork and photos proving the bed did have proper support.

Next letter from them stated it was because "Todays mattresses are constructed with more and thicker foam than mattresses of the past, and minor impressions are inevitable and expected." Well I don't think a 2" body impression is normal. When a company gives two different excuses to keep from honoring their warranty, they are not worth your business!

I have called the store twice about this mattress and they've said we have little chance of getting it replaced. After our daughter left for college, I slept in this bed for several nights and it was horrible.

The middle just sinks in.

The mattress is a Restonic Legend (plush). I will never purchase another Restonic product and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The Restonic Grand Palais mattress I purchased also sunk within two months. Upon being examined by a representative from the furniture store the mattress was judged defective. To make sure we didn't have the same problem again we upgraded to their top-of-the-line and firmest Grand Palais mattress (approx. $1,900). Within two months it too had deep depressions.

On contacting the furniture store again, a different examiner was sent to our house. He took photos of the bed and said he would get something done. Upon hearing nothing, we contacted the furniture store and were told the photos didn't reveal any depressions.

Duh! When you rise from the mattress, the springs decompress and don't show the deep depressions! The representative would not lay on the bed to experience the depressions. He simply took photographs.

Our battle with the furniture store is not over but I can assure you we will NEVER own another Restonic mattress, nor will we ever do business with J&J Furniture in Mobile, Alabama. The Restonic warranty is worthless and the service is poor!

I have sent two e mails with pictures of the mattress we purchased and have had no reponse as of yet. The mattress is coming apart under the cover and is also sagging.I hope they will stand by their product even though the mattress is 4 years old. Should have lasted longer than that.

I've had a similar experience with a Restonic mattress. I bought a Restonic "Aragon" queen mattress ($600) which is supposed to be firm in January.

The furniture salesperson really talked up the mattress and the Restonic company. She showed me a sample of the springs configuation etc. and told me the mattress was so much better than anything Serta or Sealy had in that price range. For first couple of months the mattress felt fine.

I rotated it every three weeks but I soon started to notice sagging. Within 4 months I could no longer sleep on the mattress - I was tossing and turning all over the mattress during the night trying to get comfortable. I woke up with terrible back pain and was exhausted. I ended up sleeping on a mat on the floor until I could shop for another mattress.

No way did I want another Restonic so I bought another brand. The furniture company's manager sent out a person to inspect the mattress but he said there was nothing wrong with it. The mattress looked level until you laid down on it. Of course the rep wouldn't do that.

I didn't have the time or energy to fight with the manufacturer after reading so many complaints on different sites about Restonic's lousy service so I gave the mattress to a friend for their cabin.

I'll never buy another Restonic mattress, nor will I buy anything else from the furniture store we've supported for years - they've lost our business. :?
